When the priority is reaching lots of people, small, flat accessories tend to work best, such as branded webcam covers or basic mouse mats. They are easy to hand out, take up little space and suit pad printing or UV printing so your logo stays clear in a simple branding area.
On webcam covers, the branding area is small, so a symbol or a few letters often works better than the full logo. If the accessory will touch the screen or computer, it is worth ordering samples to check thickness, adhesive and fit before you confirm.

The usual mistake here is choosing the finish first and the real use second. If it is going inside a pack, pair the organiser with a branded wireless charger or a branded phone stand, and check that the size fits the backpack or the desk at home.

When the accessory needs to stay on the desk of someone who connects peripherals and a screen every day, move up to recycled aluminium or bamboo hubs, including models with HDMI. The finish suits laser engraving and the benefit is obvious from day one, especially with laptops that have very few ports.
Do not choose material ahead of compatibility. Check the input, output ports, speed and whether the laptop charges through the hub; if it will be connected to company equipment, the safest option is to test a sample before approving the branding.
