Branded mugs for business: what they cost and which to choose
A mug with your logo costs from NOK 17.40 per unit, including branding. The same mug does not work equally well in the office kitchen, in a welcome pack or as a gift for a client. Here you can see today’s prices, examples of typical uses with real products, and what is worth checking before you order, from the branding method to the details that affect everyday use.
How much do custom mugs cost?
Unit price with your logo in one colour in the standard print area, excluding VAT and delivery. The price drops as quantities rise because the branding setup is spread across more mugs.

For office kitchens and larger orders
If you are equipping kitchens, meeting rooms or several sites, a simple mug that stacks well and is easy to replace makes sense. In the Essential range, white ceramic and classic shapes lead the way, with pad printing or wraparound screen printing to keep the logo clean and in your colour.
The usual mistake is overloading the mug. On a 300 to 350 ml mug, a logo 5 to 8 cm wide on one side is easier to read and makes the mug more likely to be used. It is also worth checking the contrast: a light grey on white can disappear quickly in the mock-up.
For new starters and internal campaigns
When the mug becomes part of the desk from day one, the finish matters more. In the Plus range, modern ceramics, matt finishes or contrasting interiors work better, with wraparound screen printing if you want corporate colour or laser engraving if you want a more understated result.
If it is going into a pack, do not mix too many models: each one has its own branding setup and makes the quote more complicated. Usually one mug and a branded notebook work better, or you can leave the assembly to Pekata’s welcome pack.
For clients, leadership and gifting
When the mug is given as a gift, the feel, the finish and how discreet the logo is all matter. In the Premium range you will find enamelled options, cork bases and more considered presentation; laser engraving leaves the logo in the light tone of the ceramic and ages better than ink under heavy use.
Before you confirm the model, check the product page if it will be used in the microwave or go through a professional dishwasher every day. Cork bases or metallic details cannot go in the microwave, and for very aggressive washing laser engraving holds up better.
Lead time: when you will have them

How each type of mug is branded
| Type of mug | Technique | How the logo looks |
|---|---|---|
| White ceramic | Pad printing or wraparound screen printing | In your corporate colour, clear and well defined on the side |
| Coloured or enamelled ceramic | Laser engraving | In the light tone of the ceramic, with no ink on the glaze |
| Matt ceramic or mugs with a contrasting interior | Wraparound screen printing or laser engraving | You can prioritise brand colour or a more understated finish |
| Plastic | Pad printing | Simple, visible branding for basic use or lots of movement |
| Models for full colour | Full colour printing or sublimation | Suitable for gradients or photos, although they show aggressive washing sooner |
Minimum order and design
The minimum order is NOK 1,053 excluding VAT per quote, and you can mix models to reach it: a white mug for the kitchen and a coloured one for new starters can go in the same order. The prices on this page are per unit, with your logo in one colour in the standard print area, excluding VAT and delivery; if you change the technique or add colours, that is adjusted in the quote.
Upload your logo on the product page and see the price straight away, or ask us for a free full-scale mock-up before you decide. You only pay when you approve it, and the lead time is shown on each product page.
